New Bread and Pastry Workshops

For those of you interested in the nitty gritty here's how these workshops are organised:

We aim to start promptly at 10 am and usually finish around 3:30 pm.  The workshop will be both hands on with practical lessons and includes demonstrations of all the key recipes. 

The workshop will focus on the two trickiest areas of gluten free baking, making bread and pastry.  For those of you sceptical about the bread, I urge you to read the testimonials on the website.  You do not need any fancy equipment to recreate these recipes at home and you will be amazed at what you can do with a bowl and a wooden spoon.  On the pastry front, we will be concentrating on making great tasting flaky pastry, that doesn't disintegrate when you handle it.  It tastes great and will allow you to make all sorts of previously off the list of menu items such as quiche, lemon tarts, apple pies, pasties etc. etc etc. Teff breads.JPG

The workshops concentrate on teaching you lots of tips and techniques with the sole objective of ensuring you leave the class feeling confident and inspired to have a go at home.  And there will be plenty of goodies to take home and show off to your friends and family.

The cost of the workshop is £125.00 per person and this includes all of your tuition, materials, recipes, ingredients, refreshments and lunch.  There is plenty of free parking on site.  beautiful berry tartlet.JPG

Please note this class is suitable for beginners and experienced cooks.  These workshops are for adults, although children over 16 will be considered, but will need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
