Gluten-free Cooking for Kids

Exciting News! I will be judging the gluten free entries at this year’s Hungerford Food Festival. I am practicing my best Mary Berry look, twinkling eyes, demure and angelic, before delivering the final verdict. So if your cakes, breads, cookies are in line for judging beware, I shall be completely unnerving.   At my side I will also have every baker’s best friend, my Thermomix. If you are interested in seeing how this machine works and want to see it in action then please come along on Sunday and have a look and of course a taste. I am currently in the process of testing Nigel Slater’s Pistachio Lemon Cookies. If they make the grade, I’ll bring some for you to try.   If you’ve got baking issues or gluten free issue you want to discuss, then by all means come along to my gluten free ‘surgery’.    The Hungerford Food Festival takes place this Sunday 23rd September from 11:00 am till 3:00 pm at The Hungerford Town Hal RG17 0NJ.    A great foodie day out for all the family.
